The Professional Education Committee has the task of being in charge of developing resources for continuing education. A great deal of their time is spent on planning and producing the
annual meeting and symposium usually held in January of each year.

This group explores new topics of interest to the membership as well as current trends in the profession and healthcare in general for potential presentation. The annual meeting serves as a chance for members to share ideas and experiences.
The committee looks for speakers and other possibilities that will allow the membership the ability to meet continuing education requirements as well as to provide an opportunity for growth as healthcare professionals.

With time, this group will offer other courses or instruction based on education and research to enhance the knowledge and maximize the proficiency of those in the athletic training profession.
