Directory of Certified Athletic Trainers Associated with High Schools in the State of Tennessee

The Tennessee Athletic Trainers Society provides the following list as a courtesyfor the general public and members alike. The individuals associated with thesehigh schools are generally providing services through a community outreachprogram. These people may be employed in a variety of ways and are not necessarily employees of the respective school systems.

The laws of the State of Tennessee provide that each of these persons must beboth certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certificationand must be licensed to practice in the State of Tennessee. College students musthave both credentials or be directly supervised by a properly certified and licensed athletic trainer in person. A lack of this supervision or credentialing is a violation ofstate laws and national requirements.

As the official organization for athletic trainers in the State of Tennessee we are constantly striving to maintain the highest standards of our profession. While we cannot guarantee those listed in this directory meet the requirements,we encourage those with questions to verify professional credentials.
