Tennessee Athletic Trainers Join the Fight Against Coronavirus
The motto for National Athletic Training Month was “Healthcare Through Action.” Athletic trainers are living that motto by delivering healthcare through action in the fight against COVID-19. Click here to read more about how athletic trainers, specifically at Vanderbilt University, are aiding in the pandemic.

COVID-19 Statement
Dear Members,
We hope this message finds you safe and healthy. Tennessee has had a rough March, starting with the tornadoes that impacted Middle Tennessee and now having to work through the very fluid and ever-changing updates regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. The amount of support and togetherness that has been cultivated during these trying times has been truly amazing to see.
We have compiled some resources for our members to be able to reference.

Proposed Changes to the TATS Governance Documents
At the 2020 TATS Annual Meeting & Clinical Symposium, the membership of the Society will be asked to vote for the acceptance of proposed changes to both the TATS Constitution and TATS By-Laws. These proposals are the work of a Task Force convened during the early part of 2019 to review the current governance documents and recommend changes to bring before the membership. These changes can be reviewed prior to the Annual Business Meeting by visiting the following page on the TATS website.

ATs Care: The Athletic Trainer for the Athletic Trainer
The potential for a catastrophic injury or critical incident is an ever-present reality in the athletic training profession. While athletic trainers are trained to handle adverse situations, who helps the athletic trainer deal with the psychological impact following a catastrophic event? Who acts as the athletic trainer for the athletic trainer? These questions led to the creation of a peer to peer support group called ATs Care.
