2017 UT Spring Sports Medicine Symposium

The University of Tennessee will be hosting its annual Spring Sports Medicine Symposium on Monday, May 8th, 2017.  The event will be held on the UT Campus starting at 8:00am with registration likely to begin at 7:30am.

Speakers for the event will include Dr. Russell Betcher who will speak on elbow injuries, a local EMT speaking about traumatic extremity injuries, and Dr. Christopher Klenck discussing new NCAA cardiac guidelines and recommendations.  Athletic trainers can earn up to 3 Category A continuing education credits for this event.  There is no cost for attending the event.

Hughston Foundation Summer Continuing Education Event

The Hughston Foundation, in conjunction with Middle Tennessee State University and the Tennessee Athletic Trainers Society, is providing athletic trainers with a one day continuing education opportunity. The event is being held on June 8th, 2017 on the MTSU campus.  Athletic trainers will be able to earn 8 EBP continuing education credits in this event led by Andy Grubbs, M.Ed., ATC of Hughston Sports Medicine.  

TATS will be providing lunch during a Middle Tennessee Regional Meeting in conjunction with the event.

The cost of this event $100 for the first (4 hour) session and $150 for both sessions. Further details about the event can be found below.
