It is honor and privilege to be nominated as the East Tennessee State Representative. I am an Industrial Athletic Trainer for Blount Memorial Hospital, Business Health and Total Rehabilitation Departments. Currently, I work with various Blount Memorial Hospital contract companies, as well as the hospital in providing athletic training services. In addition, I also am an adjunct instructor for Pellissippi State Community College teaching Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries. Prior to working for Blount Memorial Hospital, I worked at Maryville College. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Exercise Physiology and graduated from Carson Newman University in 2009 with by B.S. in Athletic Training.  I have a passion for education others both students and the community about athletic training and the unique skill set that we as Athletic Trainers can provide. My vision for Athletic Training and TATS is to advance the field of Athletic Training and to educate the community on the value of Athletic Training.
