Graduate Student Awards

The Tennessee Athletic Trainers' Society Scholarship Committee is pleased to offer two Graduate Athletic Training Student Awards each year. The recipients of these awards will each receive a $1,500.00 scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded at the annual Tennessee Athletic Trainers' Society meeting in May.

The Tennessee Athletic Trainers' Society Scholarship Committee welcomes applications from students pursuing athletic training as a career choice.  Applicants should be first or second-year students pursuing a Master's degree in Athletic Training within the state of TN.   All applicants must describe why they are seeking a degree in this profession, what characteristics they possess to assist them in becoming an athletic trainer, and demonstrate a strong desire to obtain a Master's degree in AT.

Applications and recommendations will open for the 2027 awards in March 2027.

Three recommendations are required. One recommendation from EACH of the following individuals should be submitted:

  • Coach

  • Supervising Athletic Trainer

  • Instructor
